Volunteer Tutors Organization

VTO is a student-run nonprofit organization that offers free tutoring services for K-8 students. Tutors cover a variety of academic and extra curriculum subjects via Zoom and Skype meetings.

 

EYC works with VTO to provide a free multi-week Civics Immersion program for upper elementary and middle schoolers across the nation.

League of Women Voters

LWV is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues, and influences public policy through education and advocacy.

EYC works with LWV San Diego to amplify 2022 midterm elections awareness, register youth voters via community outreach and registration drives, and push for civic engagement at a younger age.

San Dieguito Union High School District

The mission of SDUHSD is to provide a world-class education for all students through quality programs that engage students, inspire achievement and service to others, and prepare them to be lifelong learners and responsible members of society.

EYC works with SDUHSD to promote high school voting awareness and provide accessible voting resources for students, including information on the importance of (pre-)registering to vote and getting out the vote.

APAPA 

San Diego County Registrar of Voters

The Civics Center

APAPA (Asian Pacific Islander American Public Affairs) is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization that advances API communities through increased leadership and civic engagement opportunities.

​

EYC works with the San Diego chapter of APAPA to amplify BIPOC representation in civic pathways and voting efforts.

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters provides election and voting information including voter registration and status, polling place locations, live-count and final results, and reports​.

​

EYC works with the County Registrar of Voters to provide accurate election information to first-time voters and ensure successful youth voting experiences.

The Civics Center is a nonpartisan nonprofit organization dedicated to improving youth voter registration and civic engagement through education, policy and advocacy, and volunteer organizing.

EYC works with The Civics Center and its Ready to Vote Coalition (90+ partner organizations) to support youth-led voter registration efforts nationwide and provide educational resources on hosting successful school voter registration drives.
